Hole 10 – Mayne
The inward half is commenced at the tenth hole of 431 yards adjoining the Mayne Estate, with a drive to a sloping fairway, with a pathway and boundary fence to the left, and rough, and grassy pit higher up on the banking, to the right.
The saucer-shaped green, built on a semi-plateau, with the ground sloping away on three side makes an ideal target for the long second shot.
From the green, a magnificent panoramic view of Elgin may be obtained, with the spires of prominent landmarks conspicuous on the northern horizon.
