Welcome to Elgin Golf Club
Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the North of Scotland. Measuring 6,496 yards with par of 71 and a Course Rating of 71.6 and a Slope Rating of 125 off the White Medal Tees, the challenging but fair course is a true test of low and high handicap players alike.
Situated in the heart of Moray and Speyside, the golf course is kept in immaculate condition by the green-staff and boasts stunning views over the town of Elgin and the Moray coast to the north and the hills stretching to the distant Cairngorm Mountains to the south.
The Hardhillock Bar and Bistro situated in the clubhouse provides full food and beverage facilities and you will receive a warm welcome from our friendly staff.
Visitors and groups are always welcome at Elgin Golf Club and there are a variety of corporate and individual Men, Ladies and Junior membership packages to suit everyone

Well done to everyone for taking part in another capacity Gents Open with 138 participants competing today.
A mix of weather saw a variety of scoring come with it but some excellent scores won the divisions today.

🏆 Congratulations to Elgin Golf Club member Corey Edgar on winning the Northern Amateur Championship at the 120th Moray Open!
Corey produced a superb performance throughout the championship and held his nerve in a closely fought final to defeat Moray Golf Club's Matthew Owen by 1 up, securing one of the most prestigious amateur titles in the north of Scotland.
This latest success adds to Corey's victory in the 2024 Elgin 5 Day Open, further cementing his place as one of the region's top amateur golfers.

After an incredibly tough but fun week delivering our Grierson Wealth Management 5 Day Open last week. We got an amazing surprise delivery in the post this week - a National Club Golfer Top 100 Ranking Magazine.

Gents Handicap Club Championship 2026
Our 2026 Gents Handicap Club Championship reached its conclusion ahead of the Grierson Wealth Management 5 Day Open, with an excellent standard of golf on display throughout the competition.
There was some fantastic scoring across the field, but it was James Cockburn who claimed the championship title with an outstanding 36-hole total of 135, finishing four shots clear of Andy McPherson.
Congratulations to James on a superb performance and to everyone who took part in another highly competitive championship.
