Hole by Hole Guide of Elgin Golf Club
Hole 6 – The Pines
The 220-yard sixth hole is a long testing one-shotter, with the ground slanting from left to right at the approaches to the green.
The green itself is set in a semi-circle of Scots pine trees, with a steep grassy pit on the left and beyond.
The narrow entrance to the green requires a shot to be played accurately if the ball is to stay anywhere near the hole.
